Location: CAPE COD ROOM
All teams are potentially dysfunctional because they are made up of fallible, imperfect human beings. By focusing on the attributes of highly effective faculty, department, and teacher teams, school leaders can increase student results, faculty morale, quality meetings, and professional collaboration.
Participants will learn how well their teams are doing in the five key behaviors of a high functioning team: vulnerability trust, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability, and results orientation. Participants will engage in an in-depth discussion of how well their teams function and what are the obstacles to more effective teamwork and meetings. In this workshop, participants will discuss this how to improve the quality and impact of meeting from two perspectives: social-emotional learning and what it takes to get results.
The workshop will also focus on how to help your administrators and teachers run more effective meetings that are enjoyable, collaborative, efficient, and increase student learning.
